Abdur-Rasheed Ariyibi

I’m Rasheed, a UX Designer who enjoys creating simple, intuitive, and user-centered digital experiences. My journey into UX began during an IT internship, where I volunteered and collaborated on a UX project.

Working on the product felt natural to me — understanding users, shaping interactions, and bringing ideas to life visually came effortlessly. Seeing the project succeed and my efforts towards it made me realize that designing for people is what I want to do long-term.

My background in psychology played a major role in my journey, and it continues to influence how I think and design. I’m deeply interested in how people behave, what motivates them, and how their environments shape the decisions they make. This foundation helps me approach design with empathy, clarity, and a strong understanding of user thought processes.

I specialize in User Research, UI Design, and Interaction Design, with a strong visual-first approach. I usually start with clean, intuitive UI concepts and then build on them through research, testing, and iteration.

My process revolves around a simple belief: products should feel natural, purposeful, and considerate of the people using them.

I spend time understanding the contexts in which users interact with a product — their environments, challenges, emotions, and goals. From there, I shape interfaces, flows, and interactions that align both with user needs and business objectives.

MY UX EXPERIENCE

I’ve worked on a mix of conceptual, personal, and collaborative projects:

Pet Care App (Solo, Concept Project)

A mobile concept that helps pet owners manage veterinary appointments, health routines, and care resources.
This project allowed me to explore end-to-end product design, from problem framing to UI and interaction patterns.

Learn2Farm (Collaborative)

Learn2Farm is an educational mobile platform designed to teach beginners and young farmers the fundamentals of modern agriculture through simple lessons, guided tasks, and interactive tools. The project focuses on helping users understand crops, farming methods, livestock basics, and best practices in a clear, beginner-friendly way.
It was developed during my IT internship as part of a collaborative UX project, where I contributed to user research, UI design, and interaction flows to make agricultural learning more accessible and engaging.

I’m currently focused on sharpening my skills and growing into: Internship roles, Entry-level UX positions.
I’m open to opportunities across industries, as long as the work aligns with designing thoughtful experiences that make life easier.

I’m curious, empathetic, analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
I enjoy solving problems, learning new things, and creating experiences people genuinely love using.

Outside of Design, I also create and share content on YouTube, where I express my creativity through different types of videos.
